April Program–Please invite parents and teachers in your network. 

In April, we take on the future of education for our kids. We will host a panel, moderated by Lesley Smith, CU Regent. The following panelists will participate:

Kathy Gebhardt, Vice President, BVSD School Board
Amie Baca-Oehlert, President, Colorado Education Association (the largest union of educators in Colorado)
Tina Mueh, Science Teacher at Centennial Middle School and former president of BVSD’s teacher’s association

Goodbye Cory: Lorena Garcia

We continue our series of speakers who are on a mission to replace Cory Gardner in the US Senate. DWBC can’t wait to say goodbye to Cory, so we hope you will join us as we welcome potential contenders for his seat. 

This month, we will hear from activist and leader Lorena Garcia. She is Executive Director of the Colorado Statewide Parent Coalition and has worked to serve vulnerable communities throughout Colorado.

Additional Optional Meal Fee:
$15 fee for dinner (our delicious meals are catered by Bridge House Community Table Kitchen in Boulder, which provides a homeless-to-work program). 

Directions: 
Please drive past Sunrise of Boulder when you turn into the lot. The Elks Lodge is located behind the assisted living facility.
