June Lunch Program
Boulder County Trends: A Call to Action
In an election year where understanding voter demographics and how government policies affect all communities is critical, the DWBC presents Boulder County Trends: A Call to Action. Chris Barge of the Community Foundation Boulder will discuss race, age, income, and other driving factors that define Boulder County’s changing makeup. The report focuses on urgent Boulder County problems, such as affordable housing and aging in place. It also uncovers trends that will impact 2018 elections and the moral outlook for our community, such as issues of inclusion for non-white residents in important civic processes and the lack of openness to racial minorities. Come learn more about our community and the ways that we can make an impact on its future!
