Description

May Evening Program

This month we explore the Opioid Epidemic and Colorado’s Future. Our expert panel will discuss the ways that the opioid epidemic is shaping Colorado’s future–and they will talk about solutions that progressive leaders can take in order to stop this crisis. Ian Silverii, executive director of ProgressNow Colorado, will moderate a panel of experts including State Senate Candidate Brittany Petterson and Scott Williams, who runs the drug task force for the Boulder County Sheriff’s Department.

We will also discuss Colorado’s political future–and as you may have heard, THE FUTURE IS FEMALE! The Democratic Senate Campaign Fund, with executive director Mike Whitehorn, will present Brittany Petterson, Faith Winter, Jessie Danielson, and Rebecca Cranston, who are strong women running for State Senate in Colorado.
