The Democratic Women of Boulder County (DWBC) is a membership organization that is run by a volunteer board of directors. Most of the membership dues we receive are transferred to our Small Donor Committee (SDC), which makes donations to Colorado Democratic candidates on our behalf*. Program fees typically only cover the cost of our monthly education events.
Donations help us fund our annual operating budget. Expenses like tools for maintaining our membership rolls are covered through our membership dues. Also donations help us pay for web hosting, content management tools, licenses and subscriptions. The largest portion of our donations goes to the advocacy and research organizations that our monthly program speakers represent.

Small Donor Committee. Additional donations support general expenses
and contributions allowed by 501(c)4 organizations. Donations and
Membership dues are NOT tax deductible.
