WHO WE ARE
Democratic Women of Boulder County is a 501(C)4 non-profit social community organization with a mission to Educate, Engage, and Elect.
For 60 years, progressive women who are politically active have come together to create a powerful community – DWBC.
We meet monthly, and our election related events attract 200+ participants. Our members include elected officials, community leaders, grassroots activists, and volunteers. We are concerned citizens who contribute to maintaining our democracy.
In addition to voting, we expand our members’ ability to take action to support democracy through: engaging in activities relevant to electing progressive candidates; protecting our nation’s democratic ideals & democratic policies; writing post cards; calling elected officials and visiting elected officials at the Capitol.

WHAT WE DO
Events
We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month for an inspiring, hour-plus long program at a casual venue in Boulder where we meet, greet, and mingle.

Donate
DWBC is a membership organization that is run by a volunteer board of directors. Donations help us fund our annual operating budget. The largest portion of our donations goes to support our partner advocacy and grassroots organizations.
Help DWBC continue its important work in our community.
Volunteer
People participate in DWBC activities for many reasons: to learn about local issues, to gain access to elected officials & representatives, and to join with like-minded individuals in common cause activities.
Whether you’re a registered Democrat, an independent or unaffiliated; whether you’re female, male or identify as non-binary; or whether you’re young or old or somewhere in between, you are welcome in the DWBC.
